Product Overview
The GEOSATpro DSR180ASI IRD integrated receiver with 708 Closed Captioning decodes both high definition and standard definition video. The DSR180ASI is capable of receiving signals from variable program sources including DVBS, S2, DVB-ASI, QPSK and support for 4:2:0 chroma. Output interfaces include CVBS, HDMI, AES/EBU HD/SDI, 2xASI and IP. - Please choose upgraded DSR180QAM model to include additional features that include Full UHD and 4K decoding.
The DSR180ASI has 2 common interface slots capable of decrypting multiple channels. With the LAN control and monitoring function by remote web-based management and front panel controls, this user-friendly decoder is ideal for signal conversion and distribution for SD or HD-based digital video head-end system.

- Fully compliant with H. 264/MPEG-4-AVC HP@L4, MPEG-2 MP@HL, MPEG-2 MP@ML and DVB-S/S2, support for 4:2:0 chroma and ASI/IP transport stream input and output
- 2 Common Interface (CI) for descrambling major CAS including Irdeto, Viaccess, Conax, Mediaguard, Nagravision, Comvenient / Betacrypt, CTI, etc.
- BISS and BISS-E decryption
- Compatible with Multi-decrypt CI Modules
- Program filtering support (choose what channels are eliminated from ASI or IP mux)
- Closed Captioning via EIA-608 and EIA-708, VBI teletext, EBU subtitle and DVB subtitle processing (note if full EIA-708 digital Closed Captioning support is not required on SDI, choose less expensive DSR160ASI model)
- Support NTSC, PAL and SECAM
- Composite CVBS output
- HDMI output
- AES / EBU Digital Audio output (with optional breakout cable)
- HD / SD SDI video output with digital audio embedded (SDI includes 708 CC)
- 4k and UHD Video pass through ASI and IP (not donwconverted)
- 4k passthrough to IP out.
- IP I/O includes 480i/p, 720p, 1080i59/60, 1080p59/60, 2160p (4k no monitor out, no downconverting, only passthrough)
- Full setup may require web interface login via Network Management Software (NMS)
